Experience Cuba NOW! Join us as we travel from San Francisco International Airport to Havana, Cuba on a People to People educational tour (legally licensed travel for US citizens). You’ll spend 9 days immersed in the rich culture of this fascinating and gorgeous country. Throughout the program you’ll be staying with Cuban families at “Casa Particulares” for a more enriching cultural experience. In addition to 3 full days spent exploring the Cuban capital of Havana, you’ll also visit the magnificent Vinales Valley, and soak up the old world charm of Cienfuegos and Trinidad.
Among the many activities: visit art and historical museums, check out an eco-farm, see sugar and rum production up close and experience a famous Cuban cigar factory. Learn from artists, academics and musicians throughout the trip. Don't forget about learning to dance salsa and mambo! This program has been developed to be interdisciplinary, bringing together the culture, history and ecology of this complex and beautiful country. Check out the detailed itinerary below. Additional Travel Protection:
Scholastic Expeditions provides basic medical, dental and accidental insurance at no cost to the traveller. Travelers can however purchase additional travel protection.
